The center’s mission is to play a key role in Industrial IT development & deployment as well as develop, maintain and support a range of software intensive products, acting as a partner for ABB R&D centers & core businesses. We are now looking to strengthen this team with high caliber engineers having relevant software expertise combined with domain experience. Position Name:- Project Manager Job Description:- 1. INCRC is part of the global 800xA R&D organisation managing projects involving high degree of distributed development. The work involves project management of medium to large software development, maintenance projects involving team size of 3-15. 2. Job includes coordination / networking with the counter parts and stake holders world wide. 3. Life cycle management of the product (New release, Service packs, hot fixes, roll-ups etc.,) 4. Preparation of project plan, monitoring the project progress, managing project deliveries in time, Ensure process adherence in projects. 5. Allocation of tasks to the team members, Track the progress, Take corrective actions where ever necessary Domain Skills :- 1. Basic understanding of concepts of Control Systems (DCS, PLC, SCADA). 2. Domain Knowledge in DCS/PLC/SCADA with automation and control Background 3. Experience in DCS or SCADA engineering. Installation / commissioning experience in DCS systems is an added advantage. Software Skills:- 1. Familiar with SDLC. 2. Previous experience in Software development projects involving VC++ (MFC or ATL/COM), SQL or C#. 3. Familiary with the CMMI L-3 or higher quality process involving software development projects. 4. Good Concepts of OOPS/OOAD and UML 5. Familiar with different estimation methodology for software development project. 6. Good experience in using Microsoft mpp for project planning 7. Effective project tracking experience. 8. Understanding of the Software Build process, CM Activity 9. Prior experience in product development and understanding of product life cycle will be a plus. Experience:- 7 - 10 years Qualification BE / B Tech / ME / M.Tech Minimum 60% through out. Location Bangalore. Note: Candidates who have undergone the process in the last six months need not apply.
